Building & Leveraging Opportunities Foundation
The Building and Leveraging Opportunities (BLO) 501c3 Foundation is a dynamic non-profit philanthropic organization formed in partnership with the Beta Lambda Omega Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated. Our mission is to drive economic development initiatives, provide scholarship opportunities for youth, and address social service needs in Cuyahoga County, Northeast Ohio.
At BLO Foundation, we believe in the power of collaboration and have established a wide array of partnerships. We work closely with government entities, non-profit organizations, corporate partners, and philanthropic organizations to maximize our impact. Some of our esteemed partners include Cuyahoga County, The National Pan Hellenic Council of Greater Cleveland, AKA Construction, Jacks Entertainment, and generous donors who share our vision for transformative philanthropy.
Through these partnerships, we are able to leverage resources, expertise, and networks to implement innovative initiatives that uplift our community. By joining forces with like-minded organizations and individuals, we amplify our efforts to create positive change and address the critical needs of our region.
In just two short years of service to the community, the BLO Foundation has made a significant impact on the lives of over 5,000 individuals. We are proud to have awarded over $5,000 in scholarships, supporting the educational pursuits of deserving students.
Our commitment to community health has been unwavering, as we have actively participated in numerous health fairs, providing vital resources and services to over 1,000 community residents. We believe in promoting holistic well-being and ensuring access to healthcare for all.
Additionally, our efforts to address homelessness and foster community engagement have been instrumental. Through our social services initiatives, we have extended a helping hand to those in need, offering support, guidance, and resources to uplift individuals and families facing homelessness.
We are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of those we serve, and these achievements reflect our ongoing commitment to community empowerment and social impact. The BLO Foundation remains steadfast in our mission to create opportunities, foster growth, and build a stronger, more vibrant community for all.
