Beta Lambda Omega Chapter History 

The Beta Lambda Omega Alumni Chapter in Cleveland received official designation from the Grand Council and Board of Directors in 2009. Under the leadership of Kymani Gadsden, Aaron Brown, and Kenya Jordan (Beta Pi Alumni Brothers), the Cleveland Alumni Chapter became the 2nd recognized alumni chapter in the State of Ohio.

Since its inception, Beta Lambda Omega members have gone on to help establish the Gamma Rho Omega Chapter (Akron Alumni), produce two Chairman of the Board of Directors, a Regional Polaris, along with countless other brothers to serve in leadership on the regional and national level.

The Brothers of Beta Lambda Omega initiated over 40 brothers since 2009 and reclaimed over 100 from the local undergrad chapters in the area. Beta Lambda Omega was awarded the 2013 National Chapter of the Year during the 50th Anniversary Celebration and Conclave. We have been awarded 2013, 2014 and 2022 Alumni Chapter of the Year for the Ohio Valley Region.

Beta Lambda Omega prides itself in service to others. Since our inception we have partnered with; Kaboom Playground 1 Day Build, Cleveland Foodbank, Goodwill, The City Mission, The Aids Task Force, Good Health Wins, March of Dimes, St. Judes, Iota Youth Alliance, NPHC Adopt a Highway, and the City of Cleveland on a variety of service projects just to name a few. We are proud to have over 25,000 service hours in our 13 years of existence.

In 2021 and 2022, we initiated two of the largest intake classes in the country I.S. LODGE and I.S. Juice. Both classes of new members brought new energy to Cleveland and the surrounding communities. 

As Beta Lambda Omega continues to grow and evolve, we will continue to "CHANGE THE NARRATIVE" as we live up to our Founder's wildest dreams of, “Building a Tradition, Not Resting Upon One.”
